This past weekend saw DreamHack Austin take place in the US, an event that hosted a CS:GO competition, and Gambit were the team that lifted the trophy, making up for their loss to SK Gaming at the cs_summit at the end of last month.

Gambit qualified top of their group before performing exceptionally well in the knockout stages, ending up in a final against Immortals where they earned themselves the trophy and $50,000 USD in prize money. The road ahead wasn't totally smooth, however, as they were pushed into overtime by G2 Esports, who claimed a map against them, and registered several close wins against both them and Immortals.

This marks the second tournament win for Gambit in six months, and they should be high on confidence moving forward, if recent form is anything to go by. How good are Gambit in the world of CS:GO right now?
