Vexed, a French CS:GO team, announced on Monday via a post on its blog, that Hovik "KQLY" Tovmassian, formerly of Titan eSports, has joined the team. This has raised a few eyebrows because KQLY was banned from Valve-sponsered tournaments in 2014 following a Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) ban.

The announcement caused a somewhat negative reaction from both the community and team players alike. While some, including EX6TenZ (LDLC) preferred to react sarcastically, Steve "Jarod" Cohen and Léonard "SmyLi" Michelino, both from Vexed, are refusing to play with KQLY and issued a statement to that effect.

The team's next tournament, the ESL Championnat National Summer, is due to start in just two days, and now Vexed finds themselves two players down instead of one player up.
