The Copenhagen Games this past weekend saw Team Secret dominate the female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, but on the men's side Danish organisation Team Singularity lifted the trophy in an event packed with talent.

Team Singularity actually qualified second from their group with a 2-1 record, whereas Tricked Esport maintained a 2-0 record. Singularity then faced iGame.com in the quarter finals, registering a 2-1 win, before beating German outfit BIG 2-0 in the semi finals. Tricked Esports had fallen against Dreamchasers in their semi final, however, setting up a final between Dreamchasers and Singularity, a close final that saw Singularity beat them 16-13 and 16-12.

Team LDLC.com will no doubt be a little disappointed with their result, as the team that played at DreamHack Leipzig didn't get past the group stage. Despite an impressive performance, BIG will no doubt also be disappointed not to be lifting the trophy either. There's no such disappointment for Team Singularity, however, who have now won a Major this year after coming second in the Danish Championship earlier this month.

Are you surprised Team Singularity won the tournament?
