Immortals are in the finals at DreamHack Summer. The Brazilian team took down local heroes Godsent in a 2-1 series.

The teams split the first two maps of the series, Cache and Mirage. Immortals claimed the first one, going 10-5 at the half and ending at 16-11 as Godsent was slow to get their game going. The reverse happened on Mirage, as Godsent had the better first half with a 9-6 score and locked up the game at 16-12.

The deciding map, Train, saw the teams start out on very even footing. With Godsent starting on the terrorist side, the Swedes and Brazilians traded rounds until they were tied at 6-6. From there, Immortals pieced together a string of rounds that bought them a substantial lead, taking the game to 14-6 before Godsent managed to take a round back. Even then, Immortals' economy was solid enough that they didn't slow down, and took the game to match point in the next round. Godsent managed another round, but Immortals held strong and closed the game at 16-8.
Immortals will play the winner of Astralis vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas in the finals.
