Chinese Counter-Strike TyLoo surprised everyone at last month's DreamHack Masters Malmö. The team had never played a tournament outside of the Pacific-Asia region, yet managed to knock recent Major champions Luminosity Gaming out of the group stage in a massive upset.

Their performance in Malmö obviously turned some heads, and the US-based Eleague were quick to invite TyLoo to their $1,2 million tournament. But as it turns out, the Chinese team will be unable to attend.

Unspecified problems with the visa process means TyLoo won't be able to get their US visas in time for their Eleague games (the team was scheduled to play next week), and apparently the team has decided to focus on getting Polish visas in order to attend the qualifier for ESL One Cologne, rather than attempting to solve the US visa issues.

With TyLoo out, that leaves an open spot in the Eleague. Filling out that spot will be US team Selfless Gaming, says an official announcement on Eleague's Twitter.

The decision to invite Selfless has been met with skepticism. The team finished 6th at DreamHack Austin and 4th at the recent MLG Americas Minor, events where Tempo Storm managed much better results. Yet Eleague chose to pass over Tempo Storm for the TyLoo replacement spot, despite being a much better team Selfless.

Tempo Storm's AWPer Henrique "HEN1" Teles has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment.
