While we still don't know exactly when Warner Bros. mash-up fighting game MultiVersus will launch, we do know that it will be making its Evo debut this year as part of a 2v2 tournament that will feature a $100,000 prize pool.

That's right, MultiVersus will be making an appearance at Evo 2022 when it takes place in Las Vegas between August 5-7 this year. The tournament itself will use a 2v2 format, and will also feature a 32-team payout system that will see plenty of competing duos going home with some form of cash reward.

Otherwise, the details for the event are being kept quite close to the chest, but we are told in the announcement that registration will begin on May 30, and that you can sign up for the Closed Alpha today here.
