XSET has announced that it is releasing its Rainbow Six: Siege coach Sam "Jarvis" Jarvis. Revealed over Twitter, Jarvis originally joined the team back in May 2021, where after a disappointing year, the team failed to maintain its slot in the North American League for 2022.

As part of the release, Jarvis took to Twitter to share a few thoughts.

"Coaching the XSET R6 roster was full of challenges," said Jarvis. "The squad I joined was plagued with performance issues and misguided ideals that desperately needed restructuring. We made strides along the way that showed improvement but ultimately didn't net the results we were after."

As for who will be stepping in to fulfil the role of coach for XSET's Siege team, that currently remains unknown, as is the case for what is next for Jarvis' Siege career.

"It's in competitive multiplayer where the game shines. The matches are short, intense and always surprising."
