Despite being The International 2019 champions, Dota 2 failed to replicate the same result a few weeks ago at The International 10. The team did make a run during the event but failed to get through the quarterfinals, where they were defeated by Team Spirit, the organisation that went on to win the whole event.
But, now that The International 10 is behind us, OG is making a few changes to its Dota 2 roster, by announcing that both Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan and Martin "Saksa" Sazdov are leaving the team, after requesting release so that they could pursue opportunities outside of the organisation.
"Both of them are incredible players and even better teammates," said JMR Luna, CEO of OG Esports. "I am sure they will have a transformative effect in any organization they chose to join and they will continue to prove their world class talent. Martin, Sumail, you will be missed. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us and thank you for always being warm and kind to us all."
While OG has yet to reveal exactly who will be joining the team in the pair's places, we were told that the next version of OG Dota 2 would be "coming shortly".
