Esports World Cup 2026: Kuaishou Gaming and Geekay Esports secure Semifinals spots in the Honor of Kings World Cup

It's truly crunch time for the Honor of Kings World Cup at the Esports World Cup, as the Quarterfinals of the Playoffs have officially concluded. Building on our prior report, now the second Semifinal has been seeded, all following Kuaishou Gaming defeating Virtus.pro in a 4-0 manner, all while Geekay Esports smashed Team Nemesis in a 4-1 result.

This means there are now four teams left in contention in this major event, with four matches to be played in total. Both of the Semifinals will commence later this afternoon, but they will then be followed by the Third Place Match and then the Grand Final tomorrow, August 8.
