Bigben and Kylotonn are preparing WRC 8 for release this September on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, and for the first time they've shown the game in alpha state to esports player during the Community Days event.

All of the new features were showcased to these top players to get feedback on how they work, with two days going into this. This is on top of the feedback collected from professional drivers as well, so Kylotonn and Bigben are doing everything they can to tailor this and make it the best simulation possible.

"First impressions are actually really good. I can see there's definitely been a step up from WRC 7 and Kylotonn have made a step forward in what they've produced," said Jonathan 'Jonno' Holmes, 2017 and 2018 Esports WRC finalist, who you can also see in the video below.

Do you think esports players should be shown content early?

"It's a deep rally sim with lots of modes and plenty of things to do."
