The largest Dota 2 festival in Europe (their words, not ours), ESL One Hamburg, has been confirmed as the next official Valve Major. Taking place in the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, eight Dota 2 teams will scrap it out for qualifier points towards a place at The International 2018, as well as a slice of the $1 million prize pool. Two teams will go straight into the group stage (October 26-27), while the other six places will be filled by online teams competing in North America, South America, Southeast Asia, China, Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States. The playoffs will take place on October 28-29, 2017.
