Escape from Tarkov players will be getting patch 0.12 in the future, to be released "very soon", but we've actually got a brand new trailer to showcase what's on the way as well, since this is the biggest update the game has received to date.
The game is being transferred to Unity 2018.4, with the team optimising the network and server components while also fixing various bugs. There are new third-person animations, full-screen anti-aliasing TAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing), and other features as a part of these efforts.
The Hideout is a big part of the upcoming patch too, as this is a safe haven where players come back to after each raid to restore themselves. Here you can alter the size of your stash, create medical supplies, use food and water, build a bitcoin farm, and more.
Reserve is another new location as well, the secret military base of RosReserv, and will be the largest explorable location players have seen yet. That said, snipers and minefields make this a very dangerous place.
Shturman is another boss that's near the sawmill on Woods, and traders now have a colleague called Jaeger with this patch as well, sending players for quests. On top of that, players can now make and save weapon presets, get access to the T-7 thermal imaging glasses, and much more.
