New details on WWII shooter Enemy Front, due next year, have just been revealed by ambitious developers City Interactive.

Upwardly mobile publisher and developer City Interactive, who gave us last years surprisingly popular Sniper: Ghost Warrior, is hopeful that they can strike another chord with gamers with next years release.

The game will span several Second World War years and will be set firmly behind enemy lines, offering gamers straight-up shooting action as well as sabotage and espionage missions. The game is also to be powered by the successful CryENGINE 3.

The project is being led by Stuart Black, who recently left Codemasters part-way through the development of the slightly better-than-average shooter Bodycount. Black's credentials also include the Xbox and PS2 cult classic Black.
