The esports organisation Endpoint has announced that it has released a member of its Rocket League roster. Despite only joining the organisation a few weeks ago, Simas "simas" Gurskis will be moving on from the team and allowed to explore other options in the competitive scene.

"Despite a strong start to the past split, our Rocket League team have struggled to progress and realise the full potential of all the players involved. We believe this is largely due to a clash in roles and ultimately a joint decision has been made to allow Simas to explore other options for the next split.

"Simas has been a key part of the lineup, a true professional and a pleasure to work with. We wish him all the best and will be actively assisting him to find a new home."

As for what's next for Endpoint's Rocket League team, the team "will be trailing replacements over the next month to try and ensure we find the right player to push on in the winter split."
