Endless Space 2 adds new faction

Amplitude Studios are adding a new faction (now seven in total), the Riftborn, to their 4X title Endless Space 2. The game that is currently available via Early Access on Steam will receive the new update on March 23. The Riftborn are a completely new faction to the Endless universe and they come with a unique twist, the ability to manipulate time itself.

In addition to the new faction, the new update adds 8-player multiplayer, as well as solar winds, nebulas and trading ships to add life to the galaxy. The AI has been improved both when it comes to combat and diplomacy, and there has been other tweaks made too. A tutorial for "advanced players" will also be added when the update lands on March 23.
