They were surprise finalists alongside Vega Squadron.

The StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 6 competition has just wrapped up over in Kiev, Ukraine, and after the dust had settled it was Ence Esports who emerged victorious as the champions, surprising many in a tournament packed with big names in the world of CS:GO.

After making it to the playoffs, Ence had to face BIG in the quarter-finals, and after a tight overtime loss of 22-20 in the first map, they bounced back to win the series 2-1. They then faced OpTic Gaming, getting back-to-back map wins at 16-10 and 16-7 to look a little more convincing heading into their final match against Vega Squadron.

Vega Squadron were another surprise finalist too, beating Fragsters and NRG Esports to get their place in the final. It was a stunning final too, as the first map went to Vega Squadron before Ence came back to make it 2-1 in the best-of-five. Vega then won on Mirage to make it 2-2, leaving everything down to the final map, although Ence took this 16-9 on Overpass.
