Frontier Developments has confirmed that Elite: Dangerous is now available on PlayStation 4. More specifically, Elite Dangerous and the Horizons season pass are both available on PlayStation Store digitally, both as standalone games or as part of the Commander Deluxe Edition, which includes the Commander Paint Pack bonus.
The game is also available at retail for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the Elite Dangerous: Legendary Edition, which contains the game and season pass, and has 1,000 Frontier Points to buy in-game items. Below you can read in detail the features of the PS4 version of the game:

PlayStation 4 Pro players will further benefit from enhanced performance and a choice of two graphics settings: Quality, favoring visual fidelity; and Performance, favoring high framerate.
