Kit Connor, the star of Netflix's Heartstopper, A24's Warfare, and Alex Garland's upcoming Elden Ring adaptation, is set to star as the leader of the MCU's X-Men, as he'll be taking on the role of Scott Summers AKA Cyclops.
This report comes via Deadline, and while it hasn't yet been confirmed by Disney or Marvel Connors is playing the role, sources speaking to the outlet said that last week it was locked in he was the MCU's Cyclops. As was the case with Emma Frost being given to Samara Weaving, after seeing multiple candidates, Marvel and Kevin Feige saw Connors as the stand-out audition for Summers.
We're slowly gathering our team for Jake Schreier's take on the X-Men, as we now have Cyclops, Emma Frost, and Jean Gray locked in (sorry if you've not seen Spider-Man yet). There are still a lot of roles left to cast, but it seems the MCU is gearing up to have a new big team to focus on, once the Avengers' big clash with Doom is out of the way.
