Eight new games headed for Xbox Game Pass in July

Xbox Game Pass gets a bunch of new games added this month but loses ten others. Game Pass quest awards detailed.

July seems to be a busy month for the Xbox Game Pass team over at Microsoft with eight new games being added to the service shortly. On July 4, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War (Console, PC, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate), My Time at Portia (Console, PC, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) and Undertale (PC, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) join the game lineup and shortly thereafter, on July 11, Blazing Chrome (Console, PC, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate), Dead Rising 4 (Console, PC, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate), LEGO City Undercover (Console, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate), Timespinner (PC, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) and Unavowed (PC, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) are being added as well.

Games leaving the service, however, are Aftercharge (July 9), Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (July 10), LEGO Movie: The Videogame (July 16), Dandara, Dead Rising 2, Hitman Season 1, Metal Slug XX, Defense Grid: The Awakening, Hexic 2 and Iron Brigade (July 31).

Apart from the lineup changing a bit, Xbox also announced that Game Pass subscribers will get access to the Gears 5 Tech Test starting this month without having to pre-order the game and they'll also be able to earn Microsoft Rewards Points by playing games like Monster Hunter: World, Hollow Knight, Forza Horizon 4, LEGO Batman and more.
