PGL's Bucharest Minor competition for Dota 2 has just wrapped up this weekend, and after the dust settled it was Chinese team EHOME who lifted the trophy, winning $125,000 USD and also a coveted spot at the upcoming Chongqing Major event, happening between January 19 and 27.
EHOME looked strong early on, as they went to the top of their group after winning both matches and all four rounds, similar to Gambit in the other group, except their record was 4-1. EHOME then went on to beat Keen Gaming and Gambit Esports 2-0 before the grand final put them up against Gambit once more, this time resulting in a 3-1 win for EHOME.
Eyes were on OG coming into this tournament, as the victors of last year's International competition were making changes to try and return to form, but after a defeat to EHOME in the group stage they then lost to Ninjas in Pyjamas, although they did end up second in their group after wins against BOOM twice, which is something.
Can EHOME impress again in the future?
