Echoes of the End

Developer Myrkur has borrowed some obvious inspiration from Hellblade and God of War, but the result isn't entirely bad.

We spoke with the Echoes of the End developer about their stance on AI and how its increased usage is not "going to be perceived well by players."

CEO Halldor Snaer explains that "we definitely see lots of potential for this universe" and also confirms the project will be similar as "we're not turning into a 4X strategy studio".

This all comes as the game arrives on PlayStation Plus.

After a lukewarm launch earlier this year, Myrkur Games' ARPG gets a big update in this package, free for those who already own the game.

But notes that there's no firm plans to bring the game to the platform just yet.

The AA Icelandic developer doesn't expect to slap a £70 price tag on its upcoming action-adventure.

We spoke with Myrkur Games about how the approximate 40-person team came together to deliver on their grand vision.
