EA has shared their plans for the so called 'EA Play Fanfest' at this year's public E3 area, and if you're among the happy attendees you can take a closer look at the newest titles Electronic Arts has to offer, such as Star Wars Battlefront II, FIFA 18, Madden NFL 18, and the new Need for Speed game.
More interestingly EA has once again revealed that they are splitting FIFA 18 and the Fifa game for Nintendo Switch, so Switch fans won't get exactly the same version of the game as everyone else. This seems to directly contradict what ex-EA chief competition officer Peter Moore told us when we spoke to him back in February about FIFA 18.
"Well, as we have said, we are custom-building a FIFA version for the Nintendo Switch," Moore said of the game. "It will be FIFA 18, and it will obviously be later this year when FIFA 18 comes out."
The reason for the split is unclear, but it may well be because they don't want to commit to the same yearly Switch releases as they do on all other major platforms.
Is the split a big problem for you?
