Two years ago, Electronic Arts made the surprising decision to move away from the well-known E3 convention and instead have their own event called EA Play. In reality, the event just seemed to extend E3 week somewhat as EA went ahead of the rest of the pack with a press conference of their own. This proved a successful tactic, so they did the same thing last year. We all know that EA rarely stops at two, so we aren't exactly surprised by today's announcements.
EA has announced that EA Play will return this year and that it'll last from June 9 - 11. We're told that the show will start at 2 PM local time (11 PM CEST / 10 PM BST), whether that's also the time for the start of the press conference or whether that takes place prior remains to be seen. We already know that this year's Battlefield, FIFA 19, Anthem will be there along with the likes of Madden NFL 19. It also sounds like Anthem will get its playable debut at the event.
What do you hope to see at this year's EA Play? Titanfall 3 or Respawn's Star Wars title? A new Dragon Age? Skate 4? Let us know in the comments.
