Dying Light 2, a title rumoured to be in development but until today unconfirmed, was just announced during Microsoft's E3 showcase after failing to be leaked in the coming days before.
Fans were treated to an extended look at the upcoming survival horror which showed the series' signature parkour and day/night zombie elements all intact. Industry legend Chris Avellone also came on stage to talk us through some of the particulars and stated that change will be an integral part with actions working to shape the environment and future encounters.
Within a press release from Techland, Pawel Marchewka, Techland CEO said: "Dying Light 2 will be a truly bold sequel, combining the much loved Dying Light DNA with completely new ways to play. For the first time in the franchise, players will have the power to decide the fate of a decaying metropolis with their own choices and actions. Across the story, the melee combat, the parkour movement, and other aspects of the game, we're giving players a completely new level of freedom" said Pawel Marchewka, Techland CEO."
