Dragon Quest XI themed PlayStation 4 confirmed for Japan

Square Enix are pulling out all the stops ahead of the much-anticipated launch of Dragon Quest XI. Earlier today we reported on their New 2DS XL bundle, and now we got a story from Sony as well. A shiny blue and golden PS4 is what longtime fans of the series will no doubt line up to buy come launch day. The PlayStation 4 Dragon Quest Edition, as it's called, will have a unique dashboard design and will be delivered in a special DQXI themed box. The console itself is a branded version of the PS4 Slim model and the whole package launches on July 29 in Japan, alongside the game. We don't expect this model of the console to make it across to Europe, but here's hoping...
