Last year we found out that the Switch version of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age would be called Dragon Quest XI S, and now Square Enix has revealed during their Dragon Quest Summer Festival in Tokyo that the game will be getting a demo on Nintendo's console, as reported by Gematsu.

Those who keep their save data from the demo are set to get a Skill Seed as a bonus if they play the full thing, and you can also get the premium hero card The One Descended from Erdrick [S] in the Switch edition of Dragon Quest Rivals too.

On top of that, the festival also had the news that Dragon Quest X's world will feature in Dragon Quest XI S as one of the worlds you can travel to in the game, and that Erik can wear his North Leather Style outfit from the one-shot mangu by Hiro Mashima too, although the book including the download code has yet to be revealed.

Lastly, we also get the news that Draconian Quest is getting a new feature in this version of the RPG, including Super Shypox being enabled, meaning every party member is inflicted with the spell.

A release date for the demo wasn't announced, but this Switch version is due to land globally on September 27. Will you get it?
