This September, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition drops on Nintendo Switch. Now, Nintendo has announced a slew of characters from the game are also arriving in Smash Bros. Ultimate.

The massive cast of playable characters in Nintendo's fighter is getting even larger with this Dragon Quest-themed drop, as it will bring a wide variety of different characters from the game. Of course, these new Smash heroes will also bring their own set of moves.

In the Nintendo Direct presentation, we saw the contrasting abilities of "snooze" and "Kamikaze" alongside evasive manoeuvres such as a bounce and a zoom move. More details on each character will likely be revealed soon, as the characters will be coming to Smash Bros. Ultimate in summer 2019.
