Bandai Namco has provided another insight into the upcoming RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, bringing the world of the anime to life when it lands on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on January 17 next year.
In the game, seven Dragon Balls are scattered across various areas, and once you gather them you can summon Shenron to revive fallen allies. Depending on who you revive, you can unlock new dialogue options as well.
For example, if players revive Frieza after unlocking Goku's Super Saiyan 3 transformation (something Frieza didn't see in the anime), the pair can have a conversation that is unique to the game.
When defeating enemies like Frieza, players gain XP and unlock Soul Emblems to use in Community Boards too, allowing access to new skills and abilities.
You can see some brand new images for the RPG below, showing Shenron and the Dragon Balls you will discover.
Are you pleased to see Shenron make an appearance?
