We reported about EA's financial call and the news coming out of it plenty yesterday but we didn't mention the beloved Dragon Age series. During the financial fall (via Dualshockers) EA CFO Blake Jorgensen stated that while Dragon Age 4 is indeed in the works, it probably won't release until after fiscal 22, which essentially opens up for a 2022 or 2023 release.

BioWare hasn't seen the success it had grown used to up to the release Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem, both of which received plenty of criticism from both critics and fans - we even wrote about it in a lengthy speculative article about the future of Dragon Age that you can read here - so it will be interesting to see if Dragon Age 4 can calm the rough tide the studio has seen lately and reestablish the loyal fanbase the studio used to have.

Either way, that potential success won't release for quite some time.
