Guy Beahm, the man behind the "Dr Disrespect" mask, or rather persona, issued an apology for his actions at E3 earlier this summer recently. The popular streamer was streaming his first ever "IRL stream" where he took his Twitch followers with him through the Los Angeles Convention Centre. The controversy was a fact once he entered a public bathroom with the camera (which is illegal to do in California) and filmed, be it by accident or knowingly, others in the process.

In the apology post, he explains his actions by stating he became "a little blind in what's ok and what's not ok" after becoming so wrapped up in the E3 experience. He also continued, stating the following; "We had no ill intentions and I feel that was pretty obvious if you watched the entire thing. We wanted to capture an adventure, unfortunately we took that adventure into the wrongs areas unaware of the legalities surrounding it. On behalf of the Dr Disrespect brand, I apologize for this."
