Dota 2 is having its first tournament since August's The International, and it looks like it'll be the last Major of the year. According to the official Dota 2 blog, the Boston Major is to be presented by PGL and will take place in the Wang Theatre, Boston, running from December 7-10.
The prize pool for this Major isn't quite as much as The International's over $20 million, but is still bigger than many other esports events, touting a huge $3 million prize pool. The Main Event bracket seeding will be decided by a Group Stage play on December 3 and 4.
Tickets for the Boston Major will be available from Friday, 14 October, so get saving if you're thinking of going. Open qualifiers for the Major will run between 23-26 October, with regional qualifiers taking place from 27-30 October.
