Doom Eternal release date confirmed, BattleMode unveiled

We knew it would happen, but that doesn't mean that we weren't pleased to see more of Doom Eternal.

During Bethesda's E3 showcase we got to see more action-packed gameplay (and you'll be able to read our impressions here on the site soon enough), and we also got to hear more about BattleMode, a new demon vs human mode whereby two players must play as demons and strategically battle their more agile human opponents.

You can check out the new asymmetrical mode below in the attached gameplay clip (and there's a story trailer down below too if you're after more demon slaying gameplay), and there's also the small matter of the news that Doom Eternal is set to launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 22.
