QuakeCon took place this past weekend, and during the festivities we got to see an extended gameplay clip of Doom Eternal. This is all very exciting, but perhaps more exciting for Nintendo fans is the fact that it appears we'll be getting this hellish shooter on the Switch once more, after the original was brought to us by Panic Button.

Bethesda has said many times that they're happy with sales of Switch ports and that may be the reason why Doom Eternal is also coming to the Switch. Panic Button is in charge of the port once again, but "now we are making the game with Switch in mind. It's nice to know the platforms we want to hit up front", as explained by game director Marty Stratton in an interview. One big thing to note, however, is that this version will not run at 60 FPS, but at 30 FPS instead, just like the first game.

Doom Eternal is coming to the Switch alongside the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions next year. Will Switch be your platform of choice though?
