In a week when its seems most of Britain and Europe are suffering from travel-disrupting snowstorms, you'd be eager for something funny to offer a brief respite from the horrendous conditions. So thank Nintendo, GAME and Gamestation for this one.

The three have teamed up for a special one-off offer to celebrate the release of Donkey Kong Country Returns on the Wii tomorrow. The first twenty people in line come opening tomorrow in either GAME's Oxford Street store, GAME's Merry Hill store in Dudley or Gamestation at Hull's Prospect Centre (which opens at 8am) can buy a copy of the game...with a bunch of bananas.

Bring a bunch of banannas, trade 'em for a copy of one of the best platformers of the year.

Brilliant.
