Dodge has caved to the modern times by leaving behind the combustion engine for an electric counterpart for its muscle car line-up. The Dodge Charger Daytona has been overhauled to become the world's first electric muscle car, a vehicle that claims to offer 670 bhp and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.3 seconds, a time that will see the car maintain its record as the quickest muscle car out of the blocks.

The car is said to be all-wheel drive, offer an immersive interior that includes 64-lighting-colour adjustment options, an exhaust that promises Hellcat levels of sound intensity, a multitude of rim options with the largest being 20-inch in size, and a collection of race modes to allow you to dominate on the track.

Dodge has outlined what the future portfolio of the brand will look like too, stating that there will be two-door coupe versions of this EV that will begin production in mid-2024, as well as a couple of combustion engine options too, for those not interested in jumping to the electric trend as of yet.
