Dismemberment and glory in Rune: Ragnarok's new trailer

The fearsome gods from Rune: Ragnarok start to show their face. Human Head Studios has just released the first actual footage of the game since its official announcement back in August, with the trailer below, presenting how this struggle against giant mythological creatures is going to look and play.

Humanity struggles to survive, and in order to prevail it needs to craft the most powerful weapons, as the pre-alpha video explains. Dual-handed axes, flaming swords, spears, bows and maces appear among the arsenal, used against beasts such as ogres, dragons, sea creatures and some human-like rivals. And one emphasised, gory detail: dismemberment and beheading.

Rune: Ragnarok is an action-RPG focused on survival which offers both PvP battles and PvE raid experiences. No date nor platforms have been announced yet.
