Codemasters has released a new trailer for Dirt Rally 2.0, showcasing the most iconic vehicles in rally history, and here we get to see the Alpine Renault A110 1600 S from the '60s in New Zealand, the Ford Escort Mk II from the '70s in Australia, the Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 from the '80s in Spain, and Colin McRae's Subaru Impreza 1995 in New England.
"If you start first on the road you're going to suffer from a lot of loose gravel, which means you'll struggle for traction - and that makes it hard to put in a flowing stage with a good stage time," says Jon Armstrong, rally consultant at Codemasters. "The optimal run time is probably around 5th - 10th place because you get that loose surface material swept off, but it's not too rough that it ruins your car or your rhythm".
Dirt Rally 2.0 releases on February 26 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Do you have a favourite out of these cars?
