Diablo III: Eternal Collection is set to be unleashed on the Nintendo Switch later this week, and at the same time Blizzard and Nintendo have collaborated on a special Switch bundle. It would seem that their working relationship is quite healthy then, and now a new report suggests it goes deeper still.
Insider JustMaku recently posted a report on the Diablo subreddit claiming that they've datamined an early review copy of the game, where traces of code were found relating specifically to Diablo-themed Amiibo figures.
This wouldn't be the first time at all that Nintendo has collaborated with third parties to make Amiibos for games on the platform. Maybe they'll be unveiled during BlizzCon this weekend?
