After some rumors circulated this morning, we finally got official confirmation: Blizzard and Nintendo have just announced Diablo III: Eternal Collection, the highly anticipated rendition of of Diablo III for Nintendo Switch. The announcement comes via a fun tweet posted a few minutes ago on Nintendo of America's official account, where we can see Reggie Fils-Aime (President of Nintendo) and Mike Morhaime (CEO of Blizzard) in a nice pre-show clip that announces the game.
As we reported this morning, the game will be a full version of the game, including the original content of the game, including the Reaper of Souls and Necromancer expansions, as well as all additional content published on other platforms. There will be Nintendo exclusives as well as some extras to do with The Legend of Zelda series have also been announced, including Ganondorf armour. In addition, it's possible to play it in cooperative mode, as in the past, up to four players, either by sharing a screen on a single Nintendo Switch, connecting systems wirelessly or online through the Nintendo Switch Online service.
