The Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) has officially revealed that they are bringing an esports competition to teams in the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2, as brought to us in English by Inside World Football.

11 clubs from both leagues already have players, and this isn't the DFL's first foray into esports, as they're already involved with the TAG Heuer Virtual Bundesliga. Now they're working with EA Sports to create the new competition though.

Is this a good idea?
