During Blizzcon, Blizzard dedicated a full panel to the Warcraft movie, where several details were revealed. As previously suspected, the film will be based on the story of the original game, Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, which gives rise to the conflict between Alliance and Horde. The film's director, Duncan Jones, said that the story will focus equally on both factions, and that the "good and bad" nature of most war movies won't exist in the Warcraft movie.
While filming is already finished, the film is now going through a long production process, mainly due to the special effects, which according to Duncan Jones, will be much more demanding than Avatar and The Lord of the Rings together. So the movie will only release in March 2016.
There's still no trailer for the film, but they did release two posters and pictures of two characters, King Llane and Orgrim, which you can see below. You can also pick your side at fightforthealliance.com or www.fightforthehorde.com.
