Yesterday Destiny 1 Silver became available on Steam for a brief period of time, sending people crazy trying to figure out what it all means, but Bungie's community manager David 'DeeJ' Dague was on hand on Twitter to explain the whole situation.

"Destiny transactions on Steam were made available in error. All purchases will be refunded manually by Valve. Sorry for the confusion," he wrote, prompting one user to ask: "How do you sell microtransactions for a game that literally doesn't exist on PC." DeeJ had one simple response to this: "Spoiler: You don't."

As reported by VG247 though, this does raise some questions about the original Destiny. There's no question that Destiny 2 is coming to Blizzard's Battle.net, but Bungie didn't deny the first would come to Steam, although this is all speculation now. Did you notice the issue yesterday though?
