Toby Fox, the creator of Undertale, revealed it will take a very long time to finish Deltarune, the mysterious title of which a demo (or the first Chapter) was released on Halloween. On Twitter Fox answered a lot of questions about the new project.

Deltarune has a different world than Undertale, including different characters, with different lives and a completely new story. Fox writes that it took "a few years" to make the demo of Deltarune, while it 'only' took a few months to create Undertale. Therefore Fox is going to try to set up a development team, but also mentions he "may not be able to succeed because I have no experience successfully directing a team and I have no idea who I'm going to work with".

"Since I haven't started assembling the team yet I have absolutely no estimation of its completion. It could take up to 999 years depending on the efficiency level", Fox continues. "By the time it comes out we might be on PlayStation 14 or something."

The demo of Deltarune is available for download on PC and Mac.
