Deathwatch Enhanced Edition hopes to fill hole left by Xcom 2
Big shoes to fill for Rodeo Games.
Recently Firaxis announced that their Xcom 2 needed a few more months in development, pushing it back from a release this autumn to a release in February. Cue British developer Rodeo Games based out of Guildford, who thus far have mainly operated on the mobile scene are bringing out an enhanced edition of their iOS title Warhammer 40,000 - Deathwatch to PC on October 20, and cheekily suggest (via press release) it could fill the void left by Firaxis. The iOS original was received really well, and as far as turn-based goes you can't go wrong with Warhammer (well, you can, but then you're doing it wrong).
Obviously the graphics have been overhauled, making full use of Unreal Engine 4, and likewise the controls have been optimised for mouse and keyboard. There are also new Space Marines from the Dark Angels, Imperial Fists and Black Templar chapters.
