The console release of Death Road to Canada has been postponed following the tragic events in Toronto yesterday. In a statement sent to the press the managing director of publisher Ukiyo, Paul Hart, had this to say:
"We feel it would be deeply inappropriate to launch the game at such a time. We would like to express our deepest condolences to everyone affected by the tragic events in Toronto."
The game which was originally released on PC in July 2016 (and it's also available for iOS devices) is a described as a "randomly generated road trip simulator", where you drive a van, take on zombies, recruit weirdos and save dogs.
There is currently no new date set for the PS4, Switch, and Xbox One versions of Death Road to Canada.
