During a Twitch broadcast by Capcom (and then recorded for posterity on Neogaf) it was revealed that Dead Rising 3 on PC has been optimised for a steady but unspectacular 30fps.
However, it was said in the stream that the game could be uncapped, but that they refused to guarantee anything over 30fps.
"When we started the PC project... we knew we weren't going to be able to guarantee anything above 30 frames per second," Capcom's John Airhart said before later adding, "what im saying is.. We're not gonna stop you from uncapping the framerate, seeing what your hardware can really do with this game, but we can't guarantee the experience."
"We just really don't know what's gonna happen, you might see some weird stuff with physics, some weird stuff with zombies," he said. Later the added: "I really don't believe you're losing anything by playing the game at 30 frames per second."
