Dave Bautista to be playable in Gears 5

You might recognise Dave Bautista from a number of different places. He used to be a WWE wrestler called Batista, but he's since branched out into acting, appearing in films like Guardians of the Galaxy and Blade Runner 2049. Now it turns out we can expect him in Gears 5 too.

We might be more used to seeing Bautista in the wrestling video games of old, but as revealed on Twitter you can play as him in The Coalition's game after Sept 15, following WWE's Clash of Champions event.

This is all very exciting, but the trailer below turns things up a notch with explosions and awesome music to go with the reveal.

As for when we can see the game itself, it's available tomorrow for Ultimate Edition and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate owners, while the rest of us have to wait until September 10.
