Darksiders is finally out now on Wii U

Darksiders: Warmastered Edition has finally landed on Wii U, with THQ Nordic publishing the newest version of the action-adventure that stars War (one of the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse) and mixes demon-bashing combat with light environmental puzzles.

The game was originally developed by the now defunct Vigil Games, and published by THQ before the publisher went bankrupt (Nordic Games bought the name and rebranded itself, although that happened much later).

Now, more than seven years after it first launched on PS3 and Xbox One, Darksiders has finally launched on Nintendo's old-gen console. If you're still clinging on to your Wii U and are waiting for something a little different to play, you could do a lot worse than check this one out. It'll set you back $19.99 / 19,99 Euros / £14.99 if you decide to invest.
