Shiro Games is currently working on an upcoming game called Darksburg, and at Gamescom we managed to catch up with publishing and marketing manager Adrien Briatta to hear all about it, which is "a survival game" with a top-down view.
"You choose one of the four different characters and you try to survive and to bash your way through waves of zombies," he elaborated. "It's a game that's pretty hard and demanding, and cooperation will be the key of success."
That all sounds good, but there's a twist, as we also know that "you have the possibility to play as the villain, as the zombies, to try and catch the survivors and stop them reaching their goal."
"You do not directly take control of the zombies. You have these Revenants which are kind of elite zombies that you can play with against the survivors [...] they all have their own abilities and you need to use those abilities to stop the survivors."
Does this sound like a cool concept?
