Dark Souls III sells 3 million, series at 13 million

After about one month in stores Dark Souls III it is apparant that From Software's action-RPG has done very well in terms of sales. Publisher Bandai Namco announced last night in a Japanese press release that From Software's latest game has sold (shipped) over three million copies worldwide. The sales figure was broken down to 1.5 million in North America, 1 million in Europe and 0.5 million copies in Japan and Asia. The Dark Souls series has now sold in excess of 13 million copies to date.

Dark Souls III was launched on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in Europe on April 12. In Japan it got a two weeks head start as it launched on March 24. Have you check out Gamereactor's review on the game? If not feel free to follow this link.
